Artwork Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork prints perfectly. Proper file preparation is essential for high-quality results.
File Formats
Vector Files (Best)
PDF, SVG, AI, EPS — outline/convert all fonts
Raster Files (Good)
PNG preferred (transparent), PSD ok
Avoid at all costs
JPG, low-res web screenshots, flattened JPGs with white boxes
Size & Resolution
- Supply at final print size or state exact size
- 300 dpi at final size
- Typical sizes:
- Left chest: 80–110 mm
- Full chest/back: up to 300 mm
Technical Requirements
Minimum Detail
- Stroke/line ≥ 0.5 mm (~1.5 pt)
- Reversed/knockout gaps ≥ 0.7 mm
- Small text ≥ 2.5–3.0 mm cap height (~7–9 pt)
Fonts & Layers
- Outline/convert fonts (or include font files)
- Clean hidden layers/stray pixels
- Turn overprint OFF for fills/strokes
Color & Ownership
Color Specifications
Color in sRGB; include Pantone if color is critical
Ownership & Rights
Do not send artwork you don't own. Ensure you have proper licensing for all design elements.
